Services

Reflective Nutrition offers individual online dietetic support for adults, alongside specialist consultation and training for healthcare professionals, teams and organisations.

My work draws on scientific evidence, specialist clinical experience and a psychologically informed understanding of eating behaviours and nutritional health. I consider the wider biological, psychological and social factors that influence our relationship with food.

For individual clients, this means specialist dietetic support rather than psychological therapy, although our work may involve exploring thoughts, beliefs and experiences that influence eating.

For professionals and organisations, I offer specialist expertise to support clinical reflection, professional development and evidence-informed practice.

One-to-one dietetic support

I offer one-to-one online appointments for adults who feel their relationship with food has become complicated and would like to understand more about what's happening, or explore ways to make changes.

For some, this may mean finding a more flexible and relaxed approach to eating, where nutritional needs are met while still enjoying the pleasure that food can bring.

There are two ways of working with me: Understanding, which focuses on making sense of your current situation, and Change, which offers ongoing support to work towards meaningful, practical changes.

Reflective Nutrition offers specialist dietetic support for adults experiencing disordered eating, difficulties with their relationship with food, or challenges meeting their nutritional needs.

Who I can help

Emotional eating and loss of control
Eating in response to emotions, feeling out of control around food, or experiencing cycles of restriction and overeating.

Following eating disorder treatment
Continuing to build nutritional confidence, flexibility and a sustainable relationship with food after specialist treatment.

When emotions and mental health affect eating
Finding it difficult to eat regularly or meet nutritional needs because of changes in appetite, motivation or daily routines associated with emotional or mental health difficulties.

A complicated relationship with food
Feeling anxious or guilty around eating, following rigid food rules, restricting or avoiding particular foods, or struggling to eat flexibly.

Dieting and body image concerns
Long-standing dieting patterns, difficulties trusting hunger and fullness, or concerns about weight and shape influencing eating.

Weight loss medications
Navigating nutritional needs, changes in appetite and eating patterns, and the ways medication may influence your relationship with food, including when reducing or stopping medication.

These experiences often overlap, and you do not need to have a formal eating disorder diagnosis to seek support.

The Understanding and Change pathways provide different ways of exploring your needs and deciding what dietetic input may be helpful.

Understanding

For those who want to make sense of their relationship with food, without necessarily committing to making changes.

Through a detailed assessment, we'll explore your experiences, eating patterns, nutritional needs and the different influences that may have shaped your relationship with food.

Following our appointment, you'll receive a personalised written report bringing together what we've discussed, helping you make sense of your experiences and identify areas you may wish to explore further.

There is no expectation to make changes. Understanding can be valuable in its own right, or provide a starting point for future support.

Understanding package: £225, including 90 minute assessment and personalised written report

Change

For those who want support to make meaningful, sustainable changes to their relationship with food.

Change offers ongoing, individualised dietetic support, beginning with a detailed assessment to understand your current eating patterns, nutritional needs and the wider factors influencing your relationship with food.

We'll work collaboratively to identify what you would like to change and develop practical strategies that feel manageable and relevant to your everyday life.

This may include exploring eating patterns, building nutritional adequacy, increasing flexibility around food and finding ways to navigate the challenges that can make change difficult.

The pace and focus of our work will reflect your individual needs, priorities and circumstances.

Initial assessment: £175, including a 90-minute appointment and collaborative planning for change.

Follow-up appointments: £100 per 60-minute session.

Getting started

If you're considering working with me, the first step is a free, no-obligation Discovery Call.

This is an opportunity to briefly discuss what you're looking for, ask any questions and explore which approach might be most helpful for you.

Safe and appropriate support

Reflective Nutrition offers independent specialist dietetic support, with careful consideration of each person's nutritional health, individual circumstances and clinical needs.

As part of our initial discussions and assessment, I'll consider whether the service is appropriate for you. Some people may need additional medical monitoring, psychological treatment or specialist eating disorder care, either alongside dietetic input or instead of it.

I'll continue to review your needs throughout our work together. If your circumstances change, or Reflective Nutrition is no longer able to provide appropriate support safely, we'll discuss whether to adapt, pause or bring our work to an end, including other sources of support where appropriate.

Weight loss medications

I offer dietetic support for people considering, using or stopping weight loss medications prescribed through appropriate, regulated healthcare services. I am unable to provide ongoing dietetic support in connection with unlicensed or unregulated weight loss products. Where concerns arise about medication safety, I may recommend seeking advice from an appropriate medical professional.
